"Hey honey, Gabe and Amanda are coming over tonight ok?"
I never have a problem with people coming over. Since I have turned into a cave-dwelling sewer monster bent on never speaking to another human again, I thought that having friends over would be fun. A couple friends coming over turned into a huge 2 house party and Sarah's friend Annie and her son Nicholas spending the night. My Nicholas and Nicholas 2 were playing in the pool until almost 11pm so I was very excited that they would be sleeping in.
As we were getting ready for bed around 1:30pm, Nico (my Nicholas) wakes up with a bad fever: 103 degrees. I run to the store, get medicine and cool him down. He finally goes back to bed around 2:15am. We all go to bed (Annie and Nicholas in the living room, Nico in his bed, me and wife in our bed) when suddenly at 3am Colin wakes up. He is SCREAMING and I, of course, am the only one to hear him. Maybe he just cries like a dog whistle and I am the only one who can hear him. Maybe it's like The Sixth Sense. Either way, I get up. He goes back to bed and wakes up 2 other times before finally settling around 4am. When I am ready to go back to bed, Nico is in my bed sleeping DIAGONALLY so I have nowhere to go. Forget it, I am tired so I grab a SpongeBob blanket and crash on the floor in the computer room. 6am rolls around and the wife wakes me up to tell me to go to bed. As I go stumble back to bed, Annie and Nicholas wake up, which in turns means Nico wakes up, which in turn means I am now done sleeping.

Now that I am awake, this is what I look like. There is only one thing that will prevent me from going on a killing spree and that is Ashley's Donuts on Bay Area Blvd. Image may be NSFW.

They have now expanded to be called Ashley's Donuts, Kolaches, Hot Tacos, Sandwiches, Airport, Hair Care, and Tire Center, but I will leave it as Ashley's Donuts for time purposes.

Clik here to view.They have lots of different kinds of kolaches, but my favorite are the regular sausage and cheese ones. The croissant kolaches are really good, but if you don't eat them that day, the crust turns into a brick. They also have kolaches with the extra long sausages, but I don't like the way they taste. My new favorite kolache is the regular sausage and cheese with jalapeno. It is really good and gives it the extra kick to get your day going in the morning. I get a dozen kolaches, 6 sausage and cheese, 6 sausage, cheese, and jalapeno.

The glazed one are good, but their cake donuts are heaven in your mouth. I don't even bother with glazed ones anymore. I get 6 plain cake, 4 cake with chocolate topping, and 2 with strawberry topping and sprinkles.
My damage for all that food? Under 15 bucks. Sweet. Off to feed the families!!
Everyone jumps when donuts and kolaches are around. Even Colin gets into the act because he loves the plain cake ones. Nico and Nicholas dive for the chocolate topped, and the adults chow on some kolaches.Image may be NSFW.
